I learned Arabic growing up and developed a strong interest in Arabic calligraphy. The very long tradition of decorative text led me to experiment with its use in modern media. These animations and screenprints show how the ancient art form can be used in new ways, to excellent effect.

More recently with the U.S. involvement in the Middle East, there has been a demand for artists fluent in Arabic or artists that can create graphis with a Middle Eastern art sensibility. >> Click here for a sample
